The act of creating an image out of a few tubes of colored paint and some brushes always seemed like magic to me. As a young man I was amazed by what could be produced when the conscious creative energy of our souls is
confronted with a pallet of paints and a wet brush. I just had to try it myself, perseverance paid off and a few lessons didn't hurt either.
It turns out to be one of the best meditative tools I have ever encountered, you can immerse yourself in color and lose track of time. Stepping back to view your work and be surprised at what has been rendered.
It truly is a simple metaphor of creation.
